About Shahrzad Khayami
Shahrzad is best known for creating comfortable spaces incorporating timeless, elegant style.
Her body of work includes a wide range of projects, from development to design. She collaborates effectively with artisans, architects and construction crews to complete each project seamlessly.
Her work includes renovation projects of all sizes, notably a 10,000 square foot townhouse in Brooklyn Heights, where she navigated community board approvals, architectural and design teams, and managing staging and sale of the property. Shahrzad has orchestrated and led teams of consultants and architects through major renovation projects for residential townhouses and homes in New York, California, Florida, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island, as well as internationally in France and England. Her most recent project was for interior design for a 25,000 square foot mansion in Newport, Rhode Island. Her keen eye carefully curated pieces from the client’s collection of vintage and antique furniture and seamlessly incorporated it along with custom-made bespoke furniture.
She has developed a taste and aptitude for selecting high end furnishings, art and a look that not only presents well but has appeal for the most discerning client and is sought after by many clients for her ideas and applications in creating gracious, tranquil homes.
Shahrzad obtained an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business and worked as an Asset Manager at Citibank. Leading teams and delivering results under high pressure and tight schedules was of paramount importance during her finance career. This extensive experience with managing teams allows her projects to run efficiently and within budget. Coupled with thorough attention to detail, Shahrzad offers a one-stop-shop approach to customizing and completing a project of any size.
